The actress dated the prince from 2012 until 2014 and has since found a happy ending of her own with fiancé Harry Wentworth-Stanley.
Despite still being questioned about the royal, the 'White House Farm' star respects the couple too much to pass comment on her former flame.
Harry made headlines in recent weeks after announcing his intention to step down as a senior member of the royal family with his wife the Duchess of Sussex.
Cressida recently told ES magazine: "I wouldn't take a position on that because it would be a headline. I want to talk about my work. And also out of respect.
"What's the expression? How would I feel if the shoe was on the other foot and it was an ex talking about me?
"It feels like a long time ago, so when it comes up it feels strange because I'm in a very different place now -- I'm getting married, I've learned a lot. I'm much more comfortable in my own skin. I'm growing."
While the 30 year-old doesn't regret her relationship with Prince Harry, she admits the famous connection has made it harder to be taken seriously as an actress.
