About Us
Proprietor Ted, has been in the cake business for the past 35 years and would like to think that he has brought a fresh approach to the wedding cake industry.

Along the way, Ted has picked up dozens of National bakery awards for the mastery of his craft. This enthusiasm and success is reflected in his attention to detail and his eagerness to make sure today's couple are provided with the freshest and ultimate in cake design.

Most of our cakes are made at source and many flavours are gold medal winners. Our cake flavours are as follows -

Our rich fruit cake, soaked in Jamaican Rum or Cognac.

Please note, there is no extra charge for multiple flavours - this comes as standard. For budding cake designers, Ted is at hand to give you any help you might need to design your own wedding cake.

My wedding cake from A Piece of Cake was absolutely gorgeous! We choose a simple design with flowers running around the cake and it looked lovely - and tasted just as good! I will be using Ted again to make my birthday cakes!

What a beautiful and vast collection of cakes to choose from!! So many colours, endless styles and sizes. Ted really caters for all your needs. Once we ordered the cake, it was more stunning in person, but the best bit, it tasted DELICIOUS!! Would recommend to anyone.

I highly recommend A Piece of Cake! My wedding cake was beautiful and everybody complimented it on the big day. Ted is so understanding and the cake was exactly what I wanted. I would certainly use A Piece of Cake again, if only I could get married again!!
