This Georgian Manor House was built in 1730 for the bride of Lord Hawarden, the Earl of Montalt where ancient Irish chieftains, the O'Dwyers of Kilnamanagh once held the land. At the beginning of the century a religious order bought the property and in 1978, the Crowe family bought the house and adjoining lands that lay along the Multeen River.

Since 1981 the hotel has become renowned for its expertise and enjoys an excellent reputation as one of Ireland's best wedding venues, offering professional and friendly service to all their wedding couples and guests.

Dundrum House Hotel is situated amidst the beauty and splendour of Ireland's Golden Vale. The beautiful grounds and elegant interiors provide the perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs. The Galteemore Ballroom caters for up to 350 guests and our award winning team of chefs and service staff will treat you to wonderful food and excellent service.

For guests wishing to stay at the resort we can offer them either hotel or self-catering holiday home accommodation catering for both short and long stays. Many of these have fine views of the Golf Course and surrounding countryside. Our award winning Lady Clementina Restaurant (formerly Rossmore) with excellent cuisine is open every evening for dinner with A La Carte and Table D'Hote menus available.

The Clubhouse restaurant and bar offers a great dining alternative for guests making a weekend of their visit. There is entertainment every Saturday night and Austin Crowe hosts his famous Irish Night every Thursday.

Adjoining the hotel is our Health & Wellness Centre. Residents can avail of our 21-meter Swimming Pool, fully equipped Gymnasium, Sauna, Jacuzzi and Steam Room free of charge. There is a beauty and wellness suite providing beauty treatments and wellness treatments, by appointment.

The first aspect that you need to clarify is the size of the venue. Will they be able to accommodate your needs? Ask how many they will be able to comfortably seat for your meal. Remember that you will most likely be inviting extra guests to the evening reception and this will require extra space. Bands and DJs also tend to require quite a bit of room.
