Melissa Young (singer)

My passion has always been singing and I’ve performed for numerous years now.

I am a classically trained Soprano from the Royal Irish Academny of Music, I have a versatile voice which crosses over many different styles, from classical to jazz, traditional to modern, and everything in between. I am also comfortable filling many diverse roles on stage, in concert and specialising in spiritual and church singing.

I provide music for Church and Civil ceremonies as well as performing at Corporate and Pre Dinner receptions. I have performed in Shelter Me From the Rain Opera as 'Theresa' and I have performed as a soloist in concerts such as 'In the Mood', 'Sing and Swing', 'Carols by Candlelight' and 'Like Winter Waiting' just to name a few.
