The venue are already taking bookings from couples preparing to celebrate their own Titanic love story in the suite for 2012. The £97m museum overlooking Belfast Lough is due for completion in April next year to coincide with the centenary of the ships' fateful departure.
The Titanic Suite, based on the fifth and sixth floors of the centre, replicates the opulent surrounds of the liner's first class banqueting room, complete with the famous grand staircase.
It will be the region's largest function area with space for up to 1,000 guests. Claire Bradshaw, Titanic Belfast's Head of Sales & Marketing, said: "The Titanic Suite will be Belfast's largest dedicated banqueting space, filling a gap in the market for major functions with up to 1,000 guests.
"It's also, however, a highly flexible and unique space which will just as easily cater for private and society functions, launch events or intimate gatherings.
"Given the Titanic link, our aim is to create Belfast's most stylish venue, complete with the highest standards of catering and service."
Susie McCullough, Northern Ireland Tourist Board Director of Marketing and Events said:"As one of Northern Ireland's Signature Projects, Titanic Belfast is a must see visitor attraction and the excellent facilities, elegant surroundings and location of the Titanic Suite will help to position Northern Ireland as a unique business tourism destination.
"This venue, with the Titanic themed décor and capacity to accommodate such a large number of visitors, is one of its kind in Northern Ireland.
"And whilst conference and banqueting facilities are vital elements of the business tourism product, the added value is the opportunity to explore more of Northern Ireland's maritime and shipbuilding heritage which is right on their doorstep."
