The collection, exclusively at Ernest Jones, consists of 12 wedding and engagement rings each made from platinum in styles for both men and women.
10 pieces of the range feature half, quarter and third carat diamonds which are either brilliant cut or baguette cut. The range features solitaire styles, channel set diamonds and plain platinum bands available in various widths depending on personal taste.
Following suit with Amanda Wakeley's previous Ernest Jones collections, the wedding and engagement rings feature unique modern design elements. The channel set baguette diamond ring is particularly in keeping with Amanda's understated alluring style.
In the past year the high street jeweller has worked closely with Amanda Wakeley to ensure her collection brings a new and edgy yet luxury feel to the Ernest Jones brand. Ernest Jones has supported each collection with exclusive emails and competitions.
Amanda Wakeley first launched an exclusive jewellery collection for Ernest Jones back in September 2010. The range featured various collections including the Zodiac collection featuring leather and silver disc bracelets with each zodiac sign set in black diamonds. Following the success of the first collection, Amanda Wakeley and Ernest Jones collaborated a second time on Collection 2 which launched in April 2010. This collection saw Amanda Wakeley introduce coloured quartz, blue topaz and ceramics. Collection 2 launched following London Fashion Week where Amanda Wakeley featured gold plated versions of the diamond and silver cuffs from the collection. These are also available to buy online at Ernest Jones.
Awarded an OBE in 2010 for her services to the fashion industry, Amanda Wakeley is a self taught successful fashion designer who creates bridal, ready to wear collections and fine jewellery. She launched her signature label back in 1990 and has dressed A-listers including Kate Winslet as well as members of the Royal family. Amanda Wakeley is famed for her beautiful and sophisticated wedding designs and has developed an exclusive wedding and engagement ring collection to complement her wedding dress range.
