The episode features 31-year-old David from Derby, a nurse who specialises in healing wounds, it's his job to convince patients to try a less than conventional type of treatment. Whereas his bride-to-be, 23-year-old Lucy, is a brainy law student and prefers being a good old-fashioned book worm.
David is so keen to impress Lucy that he's decided to take on her favourite story of Pride and Prejudice and turn it into reality on their wedding day.
Despite knowing nothing about Pride and Prejudice he plans to base the wedding around this Jane Austen classic love story. It's the perfect opportunity to prove he can engage with her love of literature and try and match her intelligence.
But Lucy dreams of something a bit more 21st century traditional
The programme sees brave brides allow grooms to organise the biggest day of their lives singlehandedly. Grooms get three weeks to plan the celebrations and a budget of £12,000. The brides get no say in how the money is spent.
Can this groom win Lucy over by taking on her favourite love story? Can David from Derby turn himself into Mr Darcy? Watch on the BBC iPlayer to find out.
