Blind Date Couple Celebrate 20th Anniversary

A couple who met on a TV dating show are set to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary.

Alex Tatham 46 and Sue 45 met on Blind Date back in 1988.

The ITV Saturday prime time show hosted by Cilla Black showed the couple at a medieval banquet in Ireland.


They were married in a wedding special three years later with Cilla attending as a guest.

Alex told The Sun newspaper: "I'm absolutely amazed two people could meet each other in the way we did.

"We hit it off from the word go, and here we are about to celebrate 20 years of marriage. It's all rather moving. It's an extraordinary fairytale."
