Camillia and Mrs Relph would often talk outside Sandringham church in Norfolk.

So the Duchess sent Mrs Relph a piece of wedding cake with a handwritten note saying: "A little bird told me you were unable to get to the wedding as you had injured your back.

"I hope this cake will help to alleviate this. With my best wishes, Camilla."

Mrs Relph said she will not eat the cake but rather display, in its decorative tin, in her house along with her other royal memorabilia.
