Fabio Capello To Miss Son's Wedding

The manager of England football team will miss his sons wedding this weekend and instead attend the England versus Spain football game.

Fabio Capello has had his best player suspended for three games, the captain of the team is surrounded by racist abuse allegations and his team are to face world champions Spain at Wembley this weekend – this however would seem to be the least of his worries as he has decided to miss a family event- his sons wedding.


Capello’s son PierFilippo,36, is marrying his long term partner in Milan on Saturday but the football manager has upset his son's wedding plans by England organising a friendly with world champions Spain.

The friendly was originally scheduled for Friday but Spain insisted that the kick off was moved back 24 hours to give their Barcelona contingent more time to recover from Wednesday's Copa del Rey game against L’Hospitalet.

But according to a report by The Independent the family has been able to see the funny side of Capello’s absent-mindedness in telling his employers about his personal commitments.
