Women Don't 'Prioritise' Sex

A new study has revealed that women are not prioritising or enjoying sex as much as they should be.

Research carried out by the annual WomenTalk study revealed that 66% of women had sex once a week or less despite the fact that 51 % of the respondents believed that having sex a few times a week is considered sexually healthy.

The same study revealed that only 30% of the women surveyed had sex a few times a week.

Meanwhile only 42% of women understood the benefits of a healthy sex life in regards to overall health.

Specialists claim that regular sex can decrease stress, strengthen pelvic floor muscles, increase immune system function and burn calories.

The study commissioned by HealthyWomen, looked at the sex habits of 1,031 women aged 18 and above.
