Family Fight Disrupts Wedding

A wedding ended in chaos after a family brawl, The Mirror reports.

Father of the bride, Stewart Waters, had to be taken to hospital after his nephew bodybuilder Daniel Porter, 29, hit him in the face as he prepared to make a speech, a Gloucester crown court has heard.


Mr Water has revealed Porter that his father had tied the knot twice before he met his mum.

The three men had walked outside of the reception when the fight broke out.

The Mirror noted that Porter, of Billingham, near Middlesbrough, who denied assault at the bash near Dursley, Glos, in 2009, walked free after being cleared by the jury.

The Judge Jamie Tabor QC said: “Sadly they’ve now fallen out and the wedding is memorable for all the wrong reasons.”
