A friend of the couple told the Sun: "They decided to find out the sex and it's a boy.
"They are delighted but just as happy as they would have been for a girl. They think it's great that Winston will have another boy to play with."
The 29-year-old actress is due in early spring.
Billie and Laurence tied the knot in 2007.
