Borris Becker Ordered To Pay Wedding Fee

German tennis legend Boris Becker has been ordered by a Swiss court to pay the preacher who presided over his 2009 wedding an outstanding fee, the Herald Sun reports.

The triple Wimbledon winner must pay the holy man $3465 for marrying him and Dutch model Sharley Kerssenberg at the ski resort in St Moritz.


Becker had refused to pay the pastor as matter of principle after he was charged five times the regular fee, according to the newspaper.

The preacher maintains that the cost was due to the extra work the wedding entailed including television interviews.

German television channel RTL screened the nuptials.

Becker was previously married to actress and designer Barbara Feltus.
