Channel 7 Talent Marry

Australian Channel 7's star newsreader Chris Bath has wed sports reporter Jim Wilson.

The couple, who have been dating for three years said 'I do' in a private ceremony at Wollombi in the Hunter Valley.

"We're both so glad we found each other and we're looking forward to a long and happy life together," 44-year-old Bath told The Sunday Telegraph.


"My son has been badgering Jimmy to propose for a year.

"We wanted to keep it special for our families, especially our boys, and then tell the world. We couldn't be happier. It's a great way to kick off 2012."

Wilson's 6-year-old son died of a brain tumour 20 months ago and he described "Bathie" as his rock.

Bath has a 10-year-old boy and Wilson has an 11-year-old son both from previous relationships.
