Katy Perry Makes Stage Debut Following Russell Brand Split‎

Katy Perry has returned to the stage for the first time since the announcement of her breakup with Russell Brand.

The Hot 'n' Cold singer, 27, made the public appearance in concert in Jakarta, Indonesia.

She tweeted: "I'm SO EXCITED to FINALLY be in INDONESIA! U guys have waited forever."


The singer pulled out of a scheduled appearance at the People's Choice Awards in America and has been in hiding.

Comedian Brand, 36, filed for divorce from the US songstress after 14 months of marriage.

Divorce papers in the LA Superior Court cited 'irreconcilable differences'.

The pair tied the knot in October 2010 at a resort inside a tiger reserve in India.

At the time the Arthur actor said: "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."
