The dress, by the three times winner of the RHS Chelsea Young Florist of the Year award, weighs just under two stone.
He used the petals from 1000 of Asda’s Naomi red roses for the body of the dress. The hip and skirt of the dress are shaped by 15 exquisite Carmen roses (formed by assembling the petals from several roses to form a large bloom) and 200 chrysanthemums, decorated with gold-leaf.
The hem on the gown is made with petals from 150 Purple Power roses, 75 gerberas and 300 carnations. The entire look was completed with a pair of rose petal covered stiletto shoes.
Joe (pictured above) said: "Creating this dress was a big challenge, and incredible experience. I wanted to embody everything a romantic bouquet of Valentine’s Day flowers should be – classic, elegant and with a sexy twist.
"I’m so proud of what we have achieved with Asda’s stunning flower range. I hope it inspires people to treat their loved ones with an extra special bunch of flowers this Valentine’s Day."
The design was inspired by Stephane Rolland’s masterpiece modelled by Yasmin Le Bon at Paris Fashion Week earlier this year.
