Katy Perry And Russell Brand Finalise Divorce

Katy Perry and Russell Brand have been granted a divorce.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Marc Marmaro signed the judgement, although they will not be legally single until July 14 because California law requires couples to wait at least six months after filing for divorce.


It is six weeks after comedian Brand filed for divorce and one day after the singer filed paperwork claiming the pair agreed on financial issues.

The pair added their signatures to the papers on Wednesday.

Russell filed for divorce on December 30, 2011, just over a year since they married at a tiger reserve in India.
