Couples are requested to register in advance on hs.weddings@scotland.gsi.gov.uk indicating which day they would like to attend.
Discount booking offers will be available over the weekend. On site event managers will be on hand to answer any questions and show couples all the atmospheric areas where the ceremonies can take place, including the Grant Tower, Great Chamber Cellar and the Old Kitchens.
Euan Fraser, Executive Manager of Urquhart Castle said: "Urquhart Castle is steeped in history and has fantastic panoramic views across Loch Ness and the Great Glen, making it the perfect wedding venue."
Urquhart Castle was one of the largest strongholds of medieval Scotland and was also under the control of Robert the Bruce after he became King of Scots.

The historic Urquhart Castle, situated on the banks of Loch Ness is hosting its first ever wedding open weekend on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th March 2012 from 11:00 to 4:00 pm.Couples are requested to register in advance on hs.weddings@scotland.gsi.gov.uk indicating which day they would like to attend.
