The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority is celebrating this Leap Year with a competition offering ladies popped the question a seven-night, all-inclusive honeymoon at the chic, boutique Sugar Ridge Resort in the twin-island paradise of Antigua and Barbuda.
These days women can propose to their beaus any time however the tradition remains that on 29 February, women can take the proposal initiative. To qualify for the competition, entrants are required to upload a short video of their Leap Day proposal on to YouTube, between 29 February and 31 March 2012.
Videos will be shared on the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Facebook site and will be promoted via @antiguabarbuda on Twitter with the hashtag #AntiguaBarbudaProposal. The top five most entertaining and creative videos will be shortlisted and the video getting the most votes will be declared the winner of the dream honeymoon to Antigua.
Courtesy of the Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority and Sugar Ridge, the honeymoon includes return flights from London Gatwick and seven-nights all-inclusive accommodation at the luxury boutique hotel Sugar Ridge.
Nestled on a natural hillside bordered by sugarcane, the hotel offers the perfect secluded and romantic escape after the excitement of the big day.
