The military wife, whose husband, Max, is currently based in Portsmouth, sang on the album which was released on 5th March 2012.
Philippa said: "The release of this album is so exciting. I cannot believe I am singing on something like this.
"The track I sing on is Up Where We Belong and I can only say that everyone who took part in pulling the album together worked incredibly hard, and had a lot of fun.
"We would obviously love to raise a little more money for the forces’ charities and we all look
forward to following the albums progress now it has been released. The album
is very personal for me as like many military wives my husband, Max, is away
more often than he is at home. It helps to know that there are others in the same position all across the country and that singing can bring us together."
Chair of The McTimoney Chiropractic Association, Berni Martin added: "What
an achievement! Everyone at the MCA is very excited for Philippa and we will be doing all we can to help her raise funds for this incredibly worthy cause."
The recent ‘Wherever You Are’ charity single by the Military Wives was the fastest-selling charity single since Elton John's 1997 track Candle In The Wind. The group’s musical endeavours, lead by choirmaster Gareth Malone raised over £500,000 for forces’ charities.
