Dick Van Dyke Says New Wife Is 'The Perfect One'

Actor Dick Van Dyke, 86, has married Arlene Silver, 40, in a Leap Day wedding.

The pair meet six years ago at the SAG Awards and romance blossomed when he hired her as his personal make-up artist.

"The last couple of years we kind of fell in love," he told RumorFix.com. "She keeps up with me."


Van Dyke says they choose the Feb 29th date "on the spur of the moment"

He revealed he's a relationship type of guy and gushed about his new beau: "I'm not a loner. I have to have a life partner. I found the perfect one."

Van Dyke has four children from his first marriage. He later lived with partner Michelle Triola for more than 30 years, until her death in 2009.
