Perth Sheriff Court heard how Jennifer Griffin, 37, of Cromlix Road, Perth, got into a drunken argument with the bride-to-be after being invited to her house to discuss the big day.
Griffin admitted assaulting PC Lindsay Bell and behaving in a threatening manner during the incident last November.
Fiscal depute Stuart Richardson said: "Unfortunately, when officers spoke to her she began shouting and swearing at them.
"She was restrained and taken to the police station.
"Because of the way she was behaving, various restraints were applied. She was handcuffed and eventually placed in leg restraints."
Sheriff Robert McCreadie said: "This was a disgraceful way to behave towards police officers working in the community, for the benefit of the community."
Jennifer will now do 100 hours community service.
