The Spa at DoubleTree by Hilton, Cadbury House had a record year in 2011, catering for 662 women on hen parties, an increase from 2010 which saw 475 women enjoy the luxurious package.
The bookings are already rising in 2012 as small treats like pamper days become more popular than blowout weekends in different cities or countries.
With a package including champagne on arrival, a gift for the blushing bride, a luxury lunch, full use of the award-winning spa facilities and the option to add a variety of treatments, groups of friends and family are snapping up the chance to spend quality-time together in glamorous surroundings.
Spa manager Michelle Ferguson said: "Our hen party packages are extremely popular, and as we can cater for up to 38 people at a time, we have the perfect venue for relaxation with all of your loved ones as a break from the stress of organising a big day.
"Hen parties have become a big business in the past few years but many people don’t have the money to spend on expensive weekends away and often brides need to cater for a wide range of ages and tastes, which is why a spa day or break is perfect."
The Spa menu is packed full of glamorous treatments from manicures, pedicures and eyebrow shapes to full treatment packages and a range of results-driven facials.
Boasting several treatment rooms including a couple’s suite and a pre- and post-treatment relaxation room, visitors to The Spa also gain access to the health club facilities including swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym.
Michelle continued: "Girls love feeling rejuvenated. Groups can stay overnight at the hotel if they wish or often, they will come to the spa to get glammed up and then head out on the night."
