Pirate Wedding Couple Say 'Aye Do'

It's wedding's Ahoy for buccaneer couples with a growing rise in those saying 'aye do' Pirate style.

Me hearty's are tying the knot on the beach or on board boats on their big day.

Companies such as Pirate Weddings offering pirate-themed weddings in Key West, Florida, or you can have a swashbuckling ceremony in full pirate regalia like couple Mik Ashfield, 46, and Vikki Ludlow, 35, who tied the knot in the historic smuggling village of Clovelly in Devon.

The pair channelled Pirates Of The Caribbean by dressing as Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth Swann.

Staff nurse Vikki and senior operating department practitioner Mik both work at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford.

They began dressing up as pirates together with fellow medics a few years ago to raise money for Cancer Research and enjoyed the experience.

Guest even got in on the fun on their big day by donning pirate hats, jewellery, swords, corsets, mermaid costumes and wench outfits.
