Baby Joy For Claire Danes

'Homeland' actress Claire Danes is expecting her first child with Hugh Dancy.

The couple, who married in a private French ceremony in September 2009, have confirmed the news, the baby is expected later this year.

Claire, 33, and Hugh, 37, met while filming Evening together in 2007.


When asked about her marriage recently she said: "My mom Carla taught me that a long marriage can work. My parents have been together since they were 18 so I am privileged to have them as role models.

"I like marriage. I feel very secure. It helps when you are in love with the person you are married to. I do sometimes look at him and think, "You are really handsome." He keeps me sane and happy.
