Taking on the role of the wedding planners this series include Loose Woman Denise Welch with Astrologer to the stars and Strictly Come Dancing legend Russell Grant, Neighbours’ Ryan Moloney (Jarrod "Toadie" Rebecchi) and Mark Little (Joe Mangel), and Pineapple Dance Studios’ Louie Spence paired with Benidorm’s barman Jake Canuso.
Armed with a budget of £12,000 and just 21 days, the celebrity duos will plan the weddings of ordinary couples, organising every precious detail including the venue, the flowers and the all-important dress. There's one huge catch…the brave couple will hand over total control of the most important day of their lives to the celebrities without knowing their identity. The famous faces won't be revealed to the bride and groom until it's too late to back out!
Greg Barnett, Channel 5's Commissioning Editor for Entertainment, Daytime & Soaps commented: "I'm delighted the first series of Celebrity Wedding Planner proved so popular with our viewers. In this second series we’ve paired celebrities together so viewers and prospective brides and grooms can look forward to double the trouble."
