Bride-to-be Hunts For Missing Engagement Ring

A bride-to-be has launched an appeal to find her lost engagement ring.

David McRae proposed to long-term love Lauren Beevers while the couple were holidaying in Menorca in June.

She was heartbroken to discover the 1920s platinum and diamond twist ring had gone missing after she took it off while working at Kudos hair salon in Goodramgate, York, on July 20.

David told The York Press: “We’ve only been engaged a little over a month and my girlfriend who is expecting a baby is very upset. We are both really upset about it.

“So long as the ring comes back that’s all we really care about – it would mean a lot to us.”
