Mum Wins Daughter Dream Wedding

The mother of a bride has won a charity bid to give her daughter a dream wedding.

Andrea Payne’s mother secretly entered the charity auction and won the £11,000 package including venue, dress, cake, flowers, band, photography and wedding planner, the Whitstable people reports.


Fran’s decided to make a last-minute bid at the auction in aid of Pilgrims Hospices. She paid £5,623.

Andrea, 29 , told the paper: "I woke up to find a text from my mum telling me to see her as soon as possible. I had no idea what was up.

"But when mum showed me the winning bidder e-mail I screamed so loud I was crying and screaming at the same time!

"I couldn't believe she had done this for us! It is a dream come true."

Andrea and her fiance Graham are now looking forward to their big day.
