Single Astrologer Plans Wedding Without Groom

An Australian woman has planned and paid for her wedding and is waiting for the universe to deliver her a husband.

Anita Chakra Burtty, a 42-year-old astrologist, from Sydney, told Channel Nine’s A Current Affair she is "100 percent convinced" she will have a groom by her wedding date in April.


"Hopefully once he meets me he'll realise I'm a very fun, a very generous and I'm a very kind a loving person and he won't mind that I'm only a tiny bit insane," she said.

She has bought her dress, arranged music, a florist and organised a beachside barbecue reception at Coogee. All she needs is a husband.
