Lord Prescott 'Dumped' Wife's Wedding Dress

Former Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott has admitted that he put his wife's wedding dress into the rubbish, on the TV show 'All Star Mr & Mrs'.

Lord Prescott said: "When we got married she bought a wedding dress but she never told me how much it cost. At the time she told me she could turn it into a cocktail dress but she never did."


He admitted that he was sick of lugging the big box when they were moving house and suggested getting rid of it.

He continued: "We went down to the corporation tip and we dumped it. She had a tear in her eye, I must admit."

Lord Prescott and Lady Pauline Prescott have been together 50 years.
