Katie Waissel Marries In Secret Ceremony

Former X Factor contestant Katie Waissel has tied the knot in a secret ceremony with a male model, after just a two-month engagement.

She tweeted a picture of the couple leaving the venue.

Groom Brad Alphonso is wearing a tuxedo and bow tie in the snap, as Katie wears a tight strapless dress with a fishtail train.


She wore her brown hair in a bun on top of her head and accessorised with a veil and white bouquet.

But the couple are not totally traditional.

When they announced their engagement in July, they tweeted pictures of their left hands sporting matching heart tattoos in place of engagement rings.

The pair are believe to have married in New Orleans, and Katie tweeted that she was "so proud, so happy, so in love, so excited".

Katie first entered the public eye in 2010 when she competed on the X Factor.
