Blake Lively Gets A Little Help From Friends For Wedding

Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively wore a custom-made Marchesa dress in her weekend wedding ceremony, it has emerged.

The 25-year-old had a luxury most brides can only dream of - a direct line to the founders of a high-end New York fashion line.

Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig are her close friends and created her hand-draped dress, while she wore shoes by her favourite footwear designer - rumoured to be present at the wedding - Christian Louboutin.


And Blake and her groom Ryan Reynolds exchanged vows at the Boone Hall Plantation Charleston in South Carolina, which was used for the 2004 film The Notebook.

Their venue certainly carried romantic pedigree.

And Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, a close personal friend of Blake's, sang three songs at the after-party.
