The couple said they are still in the early stages of planning the big day and have yet to decide whether or not their ceremony will feature on the hit ITV2 show.
Lucy told BANG Showbiz: "As long as our family and friends are there ... then that'll be the last thing to decide."
Mario added: "Obviously that stuff, to us, is more important than the show."
The couple were speaking at the opening of an exhibition in Westfield, London, of props from the film Titanic.
They posed for pictures recreating the classic Jack and Rose stance from the now-re-released 1997 film, in a replica bow of the ship.
Mario said: "I think 'Titanic' is one of the best films ever released. It was the first ever film I saw at the cinema - I know it literally word for word."
Lucy added: "Getting to do the pose - it's an honour, really ... I love the dress ... It's good to see everything in front of you."
