Holy-Mutrimony For Snickers and Scruffy

Two dog owners have spent £6,000 marrying their pets.

Ann Carter, 70, and Ernie Rubin, 67, shared the wedding of Snickers and Scruffy with 100 friends.

Snickers’ owner Ann, from Palm Desert, California, told The Sun: "Scruffy and Snickers fell in love with each other from the moment they met."


Ernie commented to the publication: "At first we just wanted a small, intimate affair but the whole thing just took on a life of its own and kept growing and growing."

The wedding came complete with a cake, live band and open bar.

Instead of wedding gifts guests give £4,000 in donations to the Orphan Pet Oasis Humane Society.
