Britney Splits From Fiance

Britney Spears has split from fiance Jason Trawick.

In a statement the pop star said: "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friends."

Trawick commented: "I love and cherish her and her boys, and we will be close forever."


A judge also accepted Trawick's resignation as Britney's co-conservator, meaning he will no longer have control over managing decisions in the singer's personal life.

The singer also revealed she will not be returning as a judge on The X Factor USA.

Spears and Trawick got engaged in December 2011. He'd previously worked as her agent.
