Diana's Wedding Dress Goes On Display

Princess Diana’s wedding dress is to be displayed at an exhibition in Canada.

The dress, designed by Elizabeth and David Emmanuel for her 1981 wedding to Prince Charles, will be presented at the West Edmonton Mall.

Nick Grossmark, Diana: A Celebration curator, told CTV Edmonton: "It's the most famous wedding dress in the world.

Fairy Tales The Wedding & Events Specialists

"It was worn by a person who became one of the most important women in the world."

Fellow curator Graeme Murton, added: "She wanted a fairy tale wedding dress. It had to have a big impact because (St. Paul's in London) was such a large cathedral.

"When you come to the exhibition, you're very lucky that you actually see the royal train completely laid out in the case."
