Bride-To-Be Injured In Hotel Balcony Collapse

A bride-to-be and her friends have been injured at a hotel in West Yorkshire.

They were viewing the honeymoon suite before her wedding when it collapsed.

The newly refurbished bridal suite was on the first floor of the Casa Del Lago Hotel in Brighouse.


A spokesman for Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust told the Press Association: "Ambulance clinicians provided treatment at the scene and five adults have been taken to hospital for further care."

The women are being treated for their injuries at Huddersfield General Infirmary while owner Jack McDaid, who was showing the women the suite when the collapse occurred, was flown by air ambulance to Leeds General Infirmary.
