Rihanna's Father Would Support A Chris Brown Wedding

Rihanna's father has given his blessing for a wedding between Chris Brown and his daughter.

The singer's 54-year-old father Ronald Fenty told Now that the couple "have [his] blessing" if they want to get married.

"I would be ecstatic. He's a very old-fashioned kind of guy, with straight-up morals and he's always been very decent to me."


Rihanna confirmed her reunion with Brown, who was convicted of assaulting her in 2009, last month, saying: "Even if it's a mistake, it's my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I'd rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it."

Chris Brown was convicted of assaulting her in 2009.
