Scarlett Johansson 'Not Engaged'

Despite being photogrphed wearing a pear-shaped diamond ring in New York City on Monday, Scarlett Johansson's people have confirmed she is not engaged.

The Hitchcock actress, 28 and French journalist, Romain Dauriac, have confirmed they will not be walking down the aisle any time soon.


"Scarlett is absolutely not engaged," told People.

She recently told ELLE that marriage is "really not important" to her.

"The only time I ever think about it is when people ask me, 'Would I get married again?'"

She said: "I got married when I was young and it was incredibly romantic and I liked being married, actually. But it is different. It's hard to put into words."
