Patshull Hall, near Pattingham in Wolverhampton, is a popular wedding venue. Administrative receivers BDO LLP were called in to deal with the finances of the business, as well as calling the affected bride and grooms to break the news.
It is believed 29 weddings are booked for the venue between now and September.
BDO has said a helpline has been set up as the ceremonies will only continue if it is feasible.
Kim Rayment, BDO business restructuring partner, told the Express And Star: "Our first priority is to establish what wedding and conference bookings are in place and to contact all those with upcoming events. If it is at all feasible, we will endeavour to ensure the bookings and events take place to avoid any unnecessary disruption."
