The couple's divorce trial is expected to begin in May, with Humphries claiming that he was "duped" by the reality star.
Humphries and Kardashian were married for 72 days.
Relatives of the Brooklyn Nets basketball player added that he is determined to get an annulment, because the wedding was a ploy to boost the ratings of Kardashians' reality television show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
If the couple's marriage is annulled, Kris could argue that their pre-nuptial agreement was not legitimate. As a result, he would be free from the confidentiality clause which prevents him from publicly shaming his ex.
Kim ended her relationship with 28-year-old Kris in October last year, but over the weekend his family spoke out.
Humphries' aunt Dedria said: "It was a sham. My understanding of marriage is people are going to give it more than 72 days unless there's serious abuse.
"If I felt somebody had duped me and used me in front of the whole world, I would be very angry."
In addition to Dedria, Kris's uncle Mike said the sportsman was out for revenge.
He said: "I can just see him wanting a pound of flesh back. I believe he wants payback."
Dedria and Mike were just two of Humphries' 36 relatives who travelled to the couple's wedding in Santa Barbara, California. Yet the couple, who didn't know much about Kim when Kris said he was getting married, said they had concerns about the marriage from the beginning.
Dedria explained: "I had no idea who this woman was at first – I had to ask my hairdresser. She is impeccably groomed but it is a facade."
Last month, American gossip website TMZ reported Kim and Kris's trial is set for May 6th.
