'I Don't Regret Selling Story': Rebecca Loos

Rebecca Loos, the woman who allegedly had an affair with David Beckham, has said she does not regret selling her story.

Speaking to ITV's Daybreak, the media personality was the footballer's personal assistant when he played for Real Madrid.

Loos did say however, that she regretted the manner in which she revealed their affair.

She said: "Obviously I'm a mother now and I'm married myself and being in the media for six or seven years, so knowing what I know now, I would have definitely gone about things quite differently."

She added: "I think I was quite young and foolish and very reckless, and obviously I didn't think things through, I just acted on impulse. And I like to think I'm a lot less like that now, hopefully.

"I think I regret the impact on everybody. But I think I just maybe could have gone about it in a kinder way. I don't regret speaking out but I regret the way I went about it, so put it that way, yes."

Loos became Beckham's personal assistant during the transition period of him moving to Real Madrid in 2003. In 2004, a newspaper published a story claiming the couple had embarked on a four-month affair.
