The former Coronation Street actress made the comments in an interview with The Mirror and said it was something she had been discussing with her boyfriend, footballer Scott Sinclair.
Flanagan added that Christmas could be the 'perfect time' for the couple.
She said: "I’ve always been really broody. We’re thinking Christmas time – we’ve talked about it and everything.
"We don’t know what will happen with his football or my career, so we’ll see how things go."
The 22-year-old recently hit back at rumours that the couple had gone their separate ways after she was spotted moving out of their shared home in Cheshire.
However, the actress explained: "Me and my boyfriend have quite a passionate relationship. My friends always laugh at us, but I think it’s because we love each other so much.
"We’re very different people – he’s one of the fastest footballers in the country and I can’t even get up the stairs because I smoke so much.
"In a relationship you have difficulties. Just because we’re in the limelight, it doesn’t make it any different."
Despite being engaged, Flangan added that a wedding wasn't important to her.
