Men 'More Likely To Seduce Close Friends'

A new survey has found that 90% of people have close friends of the opposite sex.

However, according to the research from Canoodle.com, a further 27% of woman admitted that they would like something more from their closest male friend.

Most women were content for their friendship with a male friend to stay as it is, rather than move into a romance. This contrasted with men who were found to be more likely to seduce their close female friends.

More than half of men polled admitted they would like their friendship with a female to go further.

Men were also found to be more successful at turning the friendship into a relationship because they are more likely to try.

When it came to 'friends with benefits', only 38% of women thought it was possible to remain close friends with a man after they'd slept together, while 52% of men said the same.

Sean Wood, Communications Director of Cupid Plc who conducted the research, said: "By and large, men are more likely to find their female friends attractive than the other way around, but sometimes this can lead to love. So you should always keep an eye on your Facebook friends list!"
