According to TMZ.com, Moore is said to be going after her estranged husband's money – despite him earning a lot of it after they split.
The 50-year-old actress, who is also worth more money than Kutcher, is also said to have demanded spousal support from her former partner and wants him to help pay for renovation work she wants carried out on her $25m New York apartment.
The website adds that Moore is also unhappy that the Two And A Half Men actor established an online business and feels she should be a part of it, even though he was involved with the project after their separation.
RadarOnline claims Ashton has made $20m from his investment in the tech firm, with Moore trying to secure half of the share.
A source told the New York Post: "Ashton and Demi are still not divorced, and no settlement has been agreed, even though they have been in negotiations for over a year.
"Ashton made a lot of money after they married, but he doesn’t believe he owes her as much as she is asking for."
In the divorce papers filed by Moore, she cites 'irreconcilable differences' as the reason for the split, stating the date of marriage as September 24th, 2005 and the date of separation as November 17, 2011. The date is two months after Kutcher was alleged to have had a one-night stand with Sara Leal. Kutcher subsequently filed for divorce from his wife in December 2012.
The pair are said to be worth a joint $285m; in the last year alone Ashton earned $24m from the CBS show Two And A Half Men.
