Lea Michele Asks For Privacy Following Boyfriend's Death

Lea Michele is in mourning following the shocking news that her boyfriend and 'Glee' costar Cory Monteith died on Saturday.

The actor was pronounced dead at the scene in his hotel room at the Fairmount Pacific Rim Hotel in Vancouver.


Her rep told US weekly in a statement: "We ask that everyone kindly respect Lea's privacy during this devastating time. Thank you."

Lea stood by Cory's side as he entered rehab for substance addiction in March this year. At the time she said: "I love and support Cory and will stand by him through this. I am grateful and proud that he made this decision."

The couple had been dating for a year.
