According to The Sun, the bride and groom – Steven (28) and Emily (21) Asher – travelled to their reception in a white limousine, following their civil ceremony in Bristol.
The couple and their 33 guests chose the restaurant in Cribbs Causeway, spending a total of £150 on meals.
The groom is said to have ordered a Chicken Legend meal, while his new wife ordered the Chicken McNugget meal.
Mr Asher is quoted as saying: "We were both shaking throughout the ceremony, we were so nervous.
"Everyone seemed to find our reception at McDonald's really interesting."
When asked why they chose to have their reception at the fast-food outlet, he added: "Everyone loves McDonald's, don’t they."
The couple, from Lawrence Weston in Bristol, started dating last year. Mr Asher proposed six months later after the pair shared a number of McDonald's dates.
