According to the BBC, 47-year-old Kelly Pawlyn was swimming off Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, with her children and some friends last Friday when she lost the custom-made jewellery.
The silver and diamond rings were designed by Mrs Pawlyn's architect husband, Michael.
After the family returned to their home in London, Mrs Pawlyn drew a map for her sisters of the area, which they then used to help them find the ring at low tide.
Later that evening, her two sisters, Alexandra Parker, 46, and Judy Hill, 39, volunteered to search for the ring in low tide.
Mrs Pawlyn recalled the moment she lost the ring.
"All of a sudden it just fell off my finger. I saw it dropping down and I thought 'That's it - I won't see it again,'" she said.
"I was quite upset. I do have a real emotional attachment to it and I felt quite lost without it."
She added that her sisters "seemed quite confident they would find it, but I honestly thought I'd never see it again.
"I knew where it was but I thought the tide would take it away.
"I drew them a map and marked an 'X' where I'd dropped it - 'X' marks the spot."
Mrs Parker, who lives in Leigh-on-Sea explained: "We were hoping we would find it but we had open minds.
"The map was incredibly accurate. Judy said: 'I think it's to the left a bit' and turned her head, and there was the ring, shining in the sun and just glistening.
"It was amazing, really."
Upon their discovery, they sent a photograph of the ring to their sister and she was reunited with it the next day.
"I was bowled over. I felt like a long-lost friend had been returned and was back on my finger," she concluded.
