Brook, 33, allegedly dumped the rugby player earlier this week after she discovered a series of intimate messages and pictures on the sports star's phone, which he exchanged with a number of other women.
However, it has been claimed the 25-year-old wants to make up with the model and prove he is a changed man.
A source is quoted by the paper as saying: "Danny knows he has made a lot of mistakes but he still hopes he can get another chance with Kelly. He thinks he can change.
"However, Kelly has been busy deleting all mentions and photos of him from her social media and seems to want him out of her life.
"She won't like the idea of him sending photos to other women.
"This may be the time she thinks she needs a fresh start and let's face it, she is not going to be short of offers from men."
Brook had shared photographs of the pair together on a romantic holiday to Europe just last week, but has since deleted all images of Cipriani from her Instagram account.
According to The Sun, Brook found the messages last weekend – just days after the couple returned from holiday. The texts are said to have been sent to Stacey Simcox, a woman Cipriani met via Instagram. It is thought the messages lasted for eight months and became progressively more sexual in nature.
Brook has not referenced the couple's relationship, but on her Instagram account on Sunday, she posted a cryptic message which said: "Some people come into your life as blessings, others come into your life as lessons."
This was then followed by a tweet on Tuesday (6 August) which read: "I often wonder if more girls were willing to be ladies, would more guys feel challenged to be gentlemen?"
The tweet has since been deleted.
Brook began dating Cipriani back in September 2008, before they split in 2010. They reunited in January this year.
